Mens Hair Loss - How to Reduce Hair Loss in Men By Preet of Adsenselover.com
If you are like me, just a quick walk down the street, an outing with friends, a
general look around and I am always surprised at how common a condition mens loss is. We all
know that loss is a very common, natural, fact of life, but did you know that it is estimated
(Medem Medical Library's website) that male pattern baldness affects approximately 40 million men
in the United States. Furthermore, approximately 25 percent of men begin balding by age 30; two-
thirds begin balding by age 60.
Also an interesting, recently conducted, large scale study on loss (conducted in in
Maryborough, in central Victoria (Australia)) showed the prevalence of mid-frontal loss
increases with age and affects 73.5% of men aged 80 and over.
Understanding Mens Loss
So what do we know about this very common male condition? Here are some fast facts about the three most common forms of male baldness:
Alopecia Areata or male pattern baldness:
This condition is common and results in a receding hairline and a circular balding spot on the
crown of the head. The causes and progression rate of Alopecia Areata are varied, and include
heredity causes, anxiety and stress, living an inactive lifestyle, poor diet, and increasing age.
There are a number of products on the market which are successful in helping to reduce the rate of
this type of balding and reversal of the condition has been seen.
Temporary Baldness:
As the name suggests, temporary baldness is a condition that can occur in men following surgery,
a major life trauma, and certain diseases (e.g., diabetes) can cause temporary male baldness.
Generally, the growth will return once the other condition dissipates.
Infection-Induced Baldness:
Certain scalp infections are known to cause to come out in clumps or large amounts
(more than 100-150 strands a day). Treatment of the condition, for example for the fungus or
bacteria will reverse the problem, and new will grow again.
The individual mans decision to do something about his male baldness depends greatly on the
individuals view of the condition. Certainly, baldness is far more socially trendy than in past
years. In fact for many younger men, shaving the complete head for total baldness is seen as
attractive and fashionable and is an effective method of dealing with male loss. This works
well for older men too, although admittedly for some older men, and whose faces show signs of age,
hair loss can increase the overall look of old age. Help is at hand though as drugs, natural
products, pieces and surgical procedures are all available for help with this issue.
However, in the course of my work investigating mens health issues, I have always been a great
supporter of, and have person experience of, a very effective herbal remedy for mens loss
which is called Provillus. Provillus is an oral supplement, which I promote on my website
Picmoney.com, because I have seen the results, had great feedback and is based on good
science. DHT is a form of testosterone that trials have shown is responsible for 95 percent of
hair loss. Provillus blocks this DHT and also helps to stimulate the scalp, bringing dead follicles
back to life. Depending on your situation you can use Provillus in a preventive manner, before you
loose a lot of hair, or after. Again, whatever suits your particular situation.
